Faz algum tempo que estava tentando descobrir o nome de uma banda. A música do "trailer" de um seriado que tenho visto me fez ir atrás. Descobri por acaso, vendo clipes num canal de música. Com o nome da banda, baixei a discografia, até para conhecer melhor a banda e talz, e qual não é a minha surpresa?! Que as músicas eram realmente sensacionais! The Gossip me fez relebrar algumas bandas de indie que eu ouvia direto tempos atrás, com uma vocalista de voz muito foda e no melhor estilo "fodam-se todos". Apaixonei na hora!
Passei para o mp3 o cd que tem a música do seriado, que foi o que os fez ser conhecidos, "Standing in the Way of Control", e uma das músicas me chamou bastante atenção, pela sonoridade, pelo sentimento que rola nela, sei lá, nem consigo explicar, mas curti de cara. Como não sei inglês, fui procurar a letra na internet, e qual não é a minha segunda surpresa?! Que a letra faz muito sentido para mim, nesse momento.
